American Center for Children and Media
David Kleeman is President of the American Center for Children and Media, an executive roundtable that leads the US industry in developing sustainable and kid-friendly solutions to long-standing issues. The Center also promotes the exchange of ideas, expertise and information as a means for building quality. It looks worldwide for best practices; David is Advisory Board Chair to the international children's TV festival, PRIX JEUNESSE.
In demand as a strategist, analyst, author and speaker, David has advised producers, broadcasters, government organizations and NGOs. He has written book chapters and major studies on children and media, as well as numerous articles for trade, academic and general press including blogs for The Huffington Post. In 2012, David became a Governor of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, representing the Children's Programming Peer Group.
While traveling the world, David discovers new places through his hobby of distance running. He's run 18 marathons, from Boston to Beijing, with London 2013 looming!
