As Supervising Producer for Mattel, David Wiebe is responsible for development and production of creative content for the toy company’s entertainment properties including Direct to Video, TV episodes and Digital. He’s the producer on Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse a series of web shorts with over 250 million views worldwide.

David came to Mattel from YTV in Canada where he served as the Director of Original Content overseeing development and production of animated, live action and reality programming. Prior to that he oversaw development at Kids’ WB! where he developed Johnny Test and Emmy Award-winning The Batman. David began his career at Nickelodeon where he was fortunate enough to work on SpongeBob SquarePants and The Fairly OddParents.
