Andrewbegan his career in 1998 with the short film From An Evil Cradling. Since founding Kavaleer in 2001 he has directed another five award-winning shorts, the latest of which City of Roses will debut in 2015. He is the creator and executive producer of Garth & Bev and Wildernuts and heads up the company’s development slate, which has recently been supported by the Creative Europe MEDIA fund. Andrew’s films have been screened at hundreds of festivals worldwide and have won awards both at home and abroad including two IFTA nominations and four Digital Media Awards. His TV credentials include creator/executive producer credits for the internationally distributed Garth & Bev and Wildernuts.

In addition to his creative and development roles, in his role as CEO, he also co-manages Kavaleer’s corporate structure and direction of the company with partner Gary Timpson. He was twice named on the ‘Forty Under 40’ list of outstanding entrepreneurs by the Sunday Tribune and Sunday Independent, counting him among “the keenest minds and shrewdest entrepreneurs on the block… the potential game-changers of the next decade.” Andrew is currently acting as executive producer on episodes 27-52 of Wildernuts, directing City of Roses and overseeing preproduction of Kiva Can Do! which launched at Cartoon Forum in 2014.
